TEAM ADITHYA’S INCREDIBLE SHOW
at
SMART HACKATHON-2017 –The World’s biggest open innovation model
The project submitted by the team from ECE department comprising of following students and faculty mentor was selected for the Grand Finale of Smart Hackathon-2017 held at CVR College of Engineering, Hyderabad on 1 &2 April, 2017.

The Grand Finale was a pan India 36 hour nonstop digital programming competition whose objective was to offer digital yet sustainable innovative solutions to solve real time challenges faced by the nation.
‘Team Adithya’ was among the top 38 teams selected for the Grand Finale by the ‘Ministry of Empowerment of People with Disabilities’ from more than 200 such project submissions.
Team Adithya’s prototype “AUTOMATED LOCATION INDICATION IN PUBLICTRANSPORT SYSTEM FOR HEARING & VISUALLYIMPAIRED” for the problem statement “Retrofitting the Public Transport system was well appreciated by various startup companies, various members of Department of Empowerment of persons with disabilities and various esteemed people like Dr.Manjeeeth Singh Manna, Director of AICTE.
Team Adithya was motivated to convert their prototype into a full fledged product which will make public transport system more friendly to disabled people .The product will also take-up problems faced by the common man due to uncertainty in bus timings thereby making the public transport system more appealing to the common man.
